Matt Ely

Matt Ely has lead the Virginia DMV E-Gov group for the last 19 years. This group is responsible for building and maintaining web-based commercial and citizen focused services that enable users to renew their drivers' license, pay fines/fees, renew vehicle registrations and 40+ other transactions. This group also enables many work-units at the Virginia DMV to perform various tasks as well with a catalog of over 70 internal applications and services.

With a career that has spanned more than 30 years in application development in both state government and the private sector across several industries including healthcare, insurance, and several others; Matt Ely has lead efforts to provide value to internal and external customers with innovative software design.
